I dont want to have to make one if i can help it, not coz im lazy, but i wouldnt know where to start. Besides i dont really have the time to learn it all either:(

Anyhoo does anyone know of a mod that can switch attacking side on SD to Axis, and change say a brit map to a russain map? I know CoDaM did for vCoD, but atfer much sreaching i have been unable to find one for CoD2.

Just release a mod with the rewritten .gsc files for all (stock) maps.

Change the attackes and defenders side and the soldiertypes.

But how would i put a command/s in a config file to over write the stock map one?

I remember playing POW camp for Call of Duty 1 with germans vs. americans. It wouldn't be hard, you just have to mess around with some of the info in the map's .gsc file.

Yeh i know that, simple enough to change .gsc around to each setting. Also what would a rename each .gsc too, cos im gonna have like 6 for each map (changing attacker/defender and changing Allied team)?

nothing.. just put your new .gsc files into a .iwd file and name it zzz_yourmod.pk3. It will the automatically load over the stock files.

I don't get what you're asking here... all you have to do is alter the stock .gsc files, leaving the name the same. So you'll end up with just one for each map.

My suggestion would be to round up all the stock map files, change the gsc's to what you want and repack them in new iwd's and rename them with v2 on them. I don't recommend messing with the stock files. To many connection problems.

Well for example say for Caen (mp_trainstation) you want russains fighting it and Axis attacking. So i re-write .gsc to do this, however if i wanted to load it up with Brits and Allies attacking i would need another one, therefore i would need 6 for each map to cover everything, understand?

you would need pack the files 6 times as example: mp_trainstationV2_rus_atk or mp_trainstationV2_rus_def and so on and each time you pack it you write your different .cfg. SO then you end with 6 .iwd's each a different name and each with their own .gsc.

Ok ihave all gsc's rewrittern for each bit, just need to move right .iwd into main folder each time, however it switchs over defender/attack team, but it'll keep spawn the same.

For example on Carentan Aliies spawn in road/gaden type area, and are attacking. But i put my mod in Allies are now defending, but they still spawn in road/garden area just like normal.

Anyone have any ideas how to slove this?
