i followed the tutorial and through some investigation made it work (the tutorial says name it loadingscreen_mp.... when it should be loadscreen_mp...) anyways i got it to work except for the fact that the load screen was way to stretched and went off my screen on both sides....i tried to redo it but it didnt work...i then used the same image that worked but that was to stretched and it didnt work...now im completely stumped as to why its not working..the only change i made from the first working messed up screen to the second non working messed up screen was changing the name from loadingscreen_mp... to loadscreen_mp... i doubt that could be the problem but hopefully you guys know better than me... ugh why couldnt this be as easy as making a loading screen for uo....its not a perfect world i guess....hmmph lol

asuming that you are useing a dds file, i am not to sure what your problem is. If if is a jpg, i have this problem all the time. I still havn't found what makes this happen, but i havn't played with it long enough. If someone has the solution, please say.

i figured out the problem...its still streched but i figured out a way to fix that kinda and are you talkin bout coduo or cod2? cuz i didnt know that cod2 could use a jpg unless your talkin bout the conversion from jpg to iwi and whatnot

or u didnt resize it to 1024 x 1024

hi, i am trying to make my own load screen convert my dds/png files to iwi. I have downloaded other load screens and looked at their file structure so i know how to finish making my load screen but dont have to software to get iwi.

I already have an image to convert to iwi. Are there any programs that dont involve photoshop to make the conversion to iwi.

yea...along with the mod tools is a program called asset manager and thats what you use....look in tuts aswell
