Just a quick question really, i compiled my map a few days ago and released it to my clan they all like it and stuff, but i had a few request for some panzerfausts to spawn in the map, i had tried to put them in before but failed. so could you share your knowledge on how they are done ( Preferably respawning)

Any help will be much apreciated :)

All you have to do is:

- Right click your 2D window
- go to "mpweapon"
- find the weapon you want to add
- open your entity window ("n")
- check off "RESPAWN"

Gen nice one, also i want to ask if you put the same attributes to
stock weapons like if you put an FG42 to the map, you have to
add any other value to entities window ?

yes you can. It can be done with all the mpweapons including:
-PPsH
-mp44
-kar98k
-fg42
-satchels
-thompson
yada yada yada you get the idea

Another attribute that might be useful is the suspend attribute. It is in the same row as the respawn attribute, all you have to do is tick the box. It is kind of obvious what it will do but I'll say it anyways. Suspend makes the gun stay in what ever position you placed it in radiant, instead of the gun falling to the ground on its side.

Suspend is good for when you want the gun to rest upright on a wall, or make the weapon stay in an odd position that the game engine would otherwise change.

You can also have a respawn delay for the weapon...
In the entity window:

Key: wait
Value: [time in seconds]

(if you use the value 0, the weapon will never disapear)

....or respawning with a specific ammount of ammo:

Key: count
Value: [ammo #]

and, No problem [biggrin]

You have to be careful, as some of the mpweapons will cause the game to crash when you pick them up in-game.

The Panzerfaust does not work in MP games. Howerver, the Panzerfaust does. I'm pretty sure the satchels will make the game crash as well.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I've had no problems with spawning panzerfausts, satchels and all in a map and having it crash.

the only problem i've had is trying to spawn russian grenades - they don't show the xmodel in the editor and don't appear in game
