I have just started using the Cod2 Gradient, Ive used the Cod editor in the past and not had this problem. I cant get textures to work properly they dont seem to display right they just come out as stringy lines. Here's a screem shot....



All help or Ideas would be greatly appreciated

same question, same answer: it's your video card that doesn't support dx9

:( any way around it? because i can play the game fine and dandy. maybe i can set the settings down or somthing?

I havent found a way around this (and I have the same error). I think you're just going to have to deal with it. I do and I make rather decent looking maps :-)

I guess i will have to try live with it to then, such is life.....

Well i can deffinatly tell you that it isnt DirectX 9 support for the card that causes the problem, my card deffinatly has support for that no doubt as i just ran the Dx tests on it, its a ATI Radeon 9250.

Radeon 9250 does NOT support DX9c

How about the radeon x850XT, or the radeon x1900, or radeon x1800?? I dont really know, but I know the NVIDIA geforce4 440

The Directx tests were misleading or i didnt read them right...

Rather disapointing though that the editor doesnt support some cards that the actual game does.

i might just fall back on COD for my maps instead because i really want to see the textures. I can live with that.
