Has anyone been able to get them to work in cod2 yet?

I've used the prefabs for em and I've goten to where I can plant the bomb, however there is no timer and the bomb never explodes. Anyone have the solution, would be grateful?

did u set the attackers and defenders in the gsc and have the _load?
BASIC GSC:

main()
{

maps\mp\_load::main();

game["allies"] = "american";
game["axis"] = "german";
game["attackers"] = "allies";
game["defenders"] = "axis";
game["american_soldiertype"] = "normandy";
game["german_soldiertype"] = "normandy";

Having same prob here mate! Used basic gsc and the map loads fine, can plant bomb but thats it.no timer and no explosion.Am i missing something.?Or just stupid(don,t answer that.[crazy]

Also once the map is compiled i can see a FX symbol under both bomb points ,i also used the prefabs;Any ideas any1.

well Im not exactly sure.. it could be that the prefabs are messed up?

and are you launching the map through the compiler or the game..

the compiler seems to give me problems sometimes when launching maps on it

try through the game..

Prefabs are not the best way to make SD.
Your prefabs are referencing something that is not there. Check the values of the prefabs for references to other entities.

This is the only reason they show as FX. Is there a bombtrigger? You also need to add the effects to a gsc file that the FX are referencing.

well, I found out how to get the bombsites to work (although the objective itself won't be destroyed by the bomb).

1. In the MP section of your source_maps prefabs find "sd_bombtrigger.map". Add it into your map, just put it somewhere where you can find it, doesn't have to be anyplace special.

2. Load an "A" bombsite prefab, place it where you want it.

3. Load a "B" bombsite prefab, place it where you want it.

And thats it. The bombsites should function right even though the models of the objectives don't change from the bomb going off.

If anyone knows how to script it so the objective itself actually blows up/gets damaged, please post it.
