This would be helpful so we can judge how many modders out there want to give it a shot but just havent done so yet

I would love doing SP mapping for COD2. I am not great at scripting but I can do about anything else. I am almost done with a SP map for CODUO, so if the mapmaker is like that I should be able to do it. I find SP much more of an achievment than a MP map personally.

this should be a big step for me in SP mapping looking forward to it...made some SP maps for CoD UO great to work with as MP is just building a map, not directing the actors to do certain things

I like this category CoD 2 Single Player.
I did some basic single player mapping for CoD.
Just the basics.
But with CoD 2 coming i will focus more on sp mapping
and will give it a shot like you mentioned it.

My fear is with all the new games coming out CoD 2
Quake 4 and so on what to do with designing for the other games.
I mean how many people keep on designing for CoD
Doom 3.
And how many people keep playing them.
So it is hard to choose.

I will be mapping for CoD CoD 2 Doom 3 and Quake 4.
Only single player maps.

Also i am available for games which come with gmax and 3dsmax plugins like Battlefield 2.
So creating models like additional tanks planes to use for mapdesigners.

Goals:
First of all i want to learn much more than i allready know about mapping. And there are new textures so i can make maps even more realistic than they are right now. Right now im working on my own map mp_festung_Ijmuiden, but im satisfied about the textures im using right now, so i was actually waiting for COD2 to come out so i could finish my map.

But whenever you guys start something, tell me and ill hope i can help you with some stuff

Well i study history any time i am not out with my friends, I have learnt the scrip for COD althogh i am still intermediate.

I have mapped for about a year now and am now set to make a SP campaing based on a real story (PM me for details). Also i am prepared to mod, SP map and MP map with a team or a partner.

Atention to detail is one of my major Pro's but its also a con because it takes more time but i get the job done. I also am a profficent Director and WW2 millitery entusiast.

GOALS:

To learn better scripting and making a good sp map. I am now still woring on a sp map for uo but I am screwing up the .gsc file all the time....just cant get the objectives to work properly ....so thats something to work on....mapped some multiplayer maps for coduo....but singleplayer is more fun because you can dirrect everything that happens or has to be done yourselve. I only haven't got a clou yet about how the map is gonna look....will have to think about that
And maybe, when i finally get one map to work I will try to create a campain

Hey my name is Re, and I'm a digital modeler / texture artist and I'm going to hopefully be doing a skin package for CoD2 ...once I figure out how to actually get the image files open in photoshop...

I will be using the skins for my portfolio and they will be done from scratch.

Hey guys. I think I would like to do some sp mapping for COD2. I never did any for COD, I only did some mp mapping. I know nothing about sp mapping, I don't really know much about anything to do with mapping but mp mapping, and a bit of scripting. I'm also not that literate when it comes to this stuff, so a helpfull tut would have to spell it out for me. Thanks all you programmer dudes for helping out guys like me!
