How do u put fog in ur map to limit visabilty?

umm.. i did that and its not giving enough fog. so i lowered the far distance, and now it gives enough fog, but if u look off in the distance, the map starts to look really glitchy(in the fog)

At least be happy you are not compiling the fog into the map like otehr games :)

Ok, so the objects in the distance have become odd, or stand out in the fog? THis is where you adjust your color. You can use Windows Color picker to get an idea of the RBG.

I think I cover that in a tutorial i can remember.

Ok... what i mean by it looks glitch is ---

u know how u can cull out geometry with fog??? well at the point that it culls out geometry the textures that u look at right before looking into that area carry on and stick to that area... flashing... almost as if its trying to move the textures over, but with no luck... and the textures are all shaky, etc in that area...

Try

setExpFog (0, 8000, 0.8, 0.8, 0.8, 0);

This is the fog that actually culls the geometry. The Cullfog for some reason was not named accordingly. This was from IW.
