Howdy all. I am in the process of remaking a MOHAA map called crossroads. Everything was going fine until.... well

I believed I caused this problem by merging vertice points on my terrain mesh but could be wrong. but the problem is now evertime I add another mesh it has the same problem. I have no light maps.

If anyone has an idea on how I can fix these light maps without redoing all of the terrain patches (probably 65% of the map) please respond.

I have tried to go back and select each patch one by one and either use lmap or natural buttons in surface inspector but no luck.

Maybe, just maybe, you should group the terrain into prefabs and add them to the map. But if you have your light map messed up, you will have to do it again, I'd guess.

Sorry, I don't see another solution.

I believe this is the right answer too. I had a similar problem once and had to fix each a couple different ways. Good Luck, btw, Crossroads is an amazing map, can't wait to play it! [wave]

As a reference:

A perfect chessboard picture on a mesh in Lmap mode means the lighting is OK, if there is even one coloured square that is stretched the whole patch can screw up.

If when in LMAP mode you can't adjust the 'chessboard' with the "lmap" button you might have to try cutting the patch up, especially at points where it's curving.
