You will have to trigger them with a script. It's the only logical way to do it. write a script with a
trigger( entity entityToTrigger )

for each light entity and a sys.wait(seconds to wait) between them.

Scripting prolly would be the best way to do this but if you are scripting impared such as myself i would suggest using trigger_relays. Set the delay to X seconds. Downside is that you will have to put a relay on each light you want to go out. But it is an alternative. I was just playing with this last night.

I do... you may be able to get away with it at first, but you are eventually going to need to be able to write scripts. Get it over with as soon as possible.

Im realy working ####### this map to the last detail... the last map I did "arena" I wasnt to happy about it only took me a week it was my first map anyway. On this new map im making, it took me 6hrs to get a whole room done... I need to make sure everything is perfect. I dont even know what im going to call it. I dont have much time to work on it beween school and the occasional crash lol evil windows. there might be some scripting in it im not sure yet it will take me awhile. By the way what is a world spawn and the best way to learn about scripting? [confused]

Every map should have ONE worldspawn. If you open the editor and look at the inspector you will see no worldspawn.
Put one brush in there and you have a worldspawn. I generally call the skybox the worldspawn. I have seen in the past when compiling, a map can become unloadable due to a missing worldspawn entity. We have seen posts in the forums about missing worldspawns. hehe. Then you have to open the map as text and readd the worldspawn.

The best way to learn about scripting... first go to 3DBuzz.com. They have some great scripting tutorials for doom 3. Then start figuring out what you want to do and we'll help from there.
