I know everyone gets this, when building a fastfile

couldnt find : vision\mp_mapname.vision

i cant even find a folder for vision

and aparently theres sposed to be an extension of .vision


any info on where to create this file? maybe create another .txt document and save it with a .vision extension

but WTH is it? and where do i make the folder for it?

Make an empty vision file if you want. It affects the tint/colour/brightness/contrasst of the map and gives it more of a mood.

where?

there isnt a vision folder anywhere in the game

where do i make it?

Well i stuck a folder and file in 3 places and finally got it right... so that error about vision is gone now

but any idea why what all these errors are or where i can go about fixing em? and its still looking for an old map when i removed everything about them from my zonefile

I don't know what you did but the following setup for .vision should work:

Create a directory /raw/vision
Create a file default.vision and place it in the dir /raw/vision with the following inside:

This is your base .vision file, now you can create a file mp_yourmap.vision with your settings.


Here is an example of mp_vacant.vision:

Don't copy your mp_flyer4.csv from the folder zone_source to raw/maps. That's absolutely wrong.
The mp_flyer4.csv which is missed when you create your fast file isn't the same which you have already in the folder zone_source (same name but different content). The missed one will be created automatically when you create a loadscreen for your map.
The content of this csv file will look like this

Thanks to NovemberDobby i got the vision file part fixed (i think) however, i followed the wiki on adding the custom loadscreen and have not got a csv file that contains

victoryBackdrop,victory
defeatBackdrop,$default
levelBriefing,loadscreen_mp_trainingcamp

So im not sure whats gona wrong.
