Im almost ready to release version 1.1 of mp_farmhouse. It is for united offensive and it has ctf and dom. It really wasn't big enough to add vehicles, and the trenches make it difficult to navigate. I just need to fix a few more things and it will be ready. Here are some of the updates from version 1.0: time - night, a few terrain "holes" fixed, trenches now have more exits and planks to cross, a bomb in the barn [cool], s&d changes, a few uo textures, ctf and dom gametypes, and minor terrain/foliage changes. If you have played my map, and have some ideas, please tell me. I should have it done in a couple of days.

i just submitted my my map, and I realized its the first map in the CoDUO:maps section. [cool] Hopefully, more UO maps will follow. Please tell me what you think of my map.

Finaly a custom map
and it has DOM

We only run DOM on our server so nice to see someone adding it

Humm map it self looks cool

but honestly its way to dark
i like the idea of it being dark being to dark people will just up there brightness.

is there anyway you can litten it up a bit
havent tested it on a full server but tonight is a practice night and i will expose it to people there

I would have to change the worldspawn settings and rerelease the entire map. Before I just go and do that, I need more comments. If enough people say that it is too dark, I will change it. I think its perfect, but thats just me. Actually I think it looks better with the brightness turned down, for some reason it is easier to see that way.

actually i think u should kick down the darkness just a bit, its so dark i surdove see a bit of purple when i look straight

yea, definately turn up the brightness a bit, but not too much. I like the "i dont know if there is an enemy right in front of me because i cant see him" feeling of the map. It also make the map seem bigger. At least turn up the brightness of the lanterns and lights so the are pretty bright. Oh, and i found 1 terrain hole in the trench near the allied spawn. Good job though, I'll try and get my clan to try it out and i'll tell you how it plays with more people.

nice looking map!
i guess the lightings ok if you turn up your gamma...
i like the nighttime atmosphere...it gets you on your toes lol
congrats on the first UO map [biggrin]

the map seems to be great . it does need brighten up though. if ya have to turn your gamma up for this one map then it throws the gamma off for all the other maps on our server. anyway it could be a dusk or twilight map?
