hi, i am trying to make a simple vehicle map with actors and have followed two tuts on the subject. however, my actors will not spawn and my vehicle will not move, to make matters worse i can walk through my jeep like it is not there. in compile i get this warning:no collision map file for script_vehicle"vehicle_american_jeep_cot"

this is my gsc if that helps:

did you remember to add the +set g_connectpaths 1 thingy in your shortcut?

yeah, i have made several test maps with friendly chains and enemy spawns, those work fine.

i looked in the collmap folder in my call of duty folder and there is in fact no collision map for vehicle_american_jeep_cot. as a matter of fact there are only six listed there while if you go to xmodel list there are twelve american vehicles listed. this seems annoying, i guess if i want to add a vehicle i first need to go and check the collmap folder to see which vehicles i can add.

First thing to do is check the gsc is in the right directory and named correctly. Then check your triggers are set up right and linked to your "spawners" (make sure your actors are spawns- i somtimes forget to do that before compiling).

just a quick thought ur not using the static vehicle?

and as for the collmaps, i'm not sure, apart from if it is a static vehicle - (excluding the opels maybe?) then they dont tend to have collmaps, as they can be add easily enough through clip_metal etc

not sure about triggers, i guess you mean the key/values i give vehicle, actor and script.
this is my vehicle:
script_team, allies
script_vehicleride,0
script_vehiclespawngroup,1

script_noteworthy,vehicle
this is for my actor:

script_vehicleride,0
this is my start node:

unfortunatley, i cannot get actors to spawn(yeah, spawner box is checked)[confused]

i am not sure how i did it, but i now have a moving vehicle and my allies spawned to drive it, however when i try and run my map through the compiler i get this error:

CRAP MY JEEP IS MOVING but when ive created the csv-file in/main/soundalies when ive wanna start my map ist write this: missing value in jeep blah blah blah ive copied all the files what i need to move a car ive really flick-d up cause my car is work perfectly just no sound thats so........ if someone can help me post or write to tomika955@hotmail.com
