I have found in some gsc's that use logprint to record player names, guids, hitloc, etc... but I cannot find the script that records using logprint the textchat that the players use.

Chat does get recorded in my log but what is the code and where is it in the gsc's?

and thanks caretaker for the logviewer... nice application!

I think that's hardcoded into the engine, and not in any .gsc file.

And you're welcome.

What do you need it for? Maybe we can find another way of doing what you want.

just the same old thing... tracking foul language and such on the servers... I have looked at big brother 3 and can't figure out what to do with it for the life of me... same with serverwatch... serverwatch does kind of work as far as swearing, but it also does way more than I want it to... like auto kick people from the server because they change their name or other such nonsense... and i cannot figure out how to disable all of the other features.

if there was a way to just have a language watcher for the server, i'd be content...

and yes, before i start getting flamed for requiring people to watch their language on our server, we do kick or ban depending on the word... half our members are below the age of 15 so we try to keep it clean...

The B3 bot works by reading the games_mp.log file... go to their website and ask/look for specific answers on their forums.. they're a helpful bunch last time I checked.

Hmm i didn't know there was such a thing. I will have to look into this! I have wonderd for ages if there was something I could ask my clan leader to add to the server to track bad language. Thanks guys ;)
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.
