the sandbags and rocks are disapearing at certain distances on the map when in game.How can i keep these models from turning off?I would like them to stay on nomatter where i am in the map....

I need to say two thinks (1) I'm only guessing based on my experience and (2) it's great to see you at work on a (I assume) COD2 map.

It's an issue with the engine. (I think) One thing to do is to shorten the distance that a player will see a model by putting something to block his point of view.

Also, are there a great number of models visible between the two points? I know the game can only draw a certain number of models and if you overload it, it draws the closest stuff to you first.

Yes,its is a cod2 map.Im converting my Omaha map over.
everything seems to be working fine but im having issues with distance and the new fog/lighting.Also im looking for a thicker fog bank effect(the thickest one actually).

look in your bin folder mate effects editor works a treat to make fog thicker bigger smaller

you can add a general fog to your map in your .gsc file by using this tutorial.

ok,figured out you need to use the military sandbags.they dont disappear at far distances.Hill400 sandbags=bad.
