hello again !

i carefully try the tutorial...
ok when i shot the window she broke .this part works..

but when i try to put a fx :glass_shatter,nothing happen why?
i see the FX model in radiant and he is connect to the origin..

i follow all the step.....4 time.... [puke]

The reason for this is that the key "fxid" should be "script_fxid", worked for me :)

but without sound ...... [cry]

please how to add sound ?

I'm having an absolute nightmare trying to add sound at the moment. Maybe somebody else could help? I'm using the script from Shotgun_Rooms but I can't get sound to work, and I noticed sound only works on the Shotgun_Rooms map for the Mortar launched explosion but nothing else :(

i only played the explosion sound on the mortor explosion. take a look through shotguns_rooms_bombs.gsc and put the

"launcher playsound(mort_boom, dorigin);" anywhere you need a BOOM!

of course you must use a defined entity with an assigned origin eg: launcher.

and the glass_shatter.efx from the game does not have a sound assigned to it, you will never get a sound...
try glass_break.efx from shotguns_rooms

i am away from a computer with radiant, or cod, but try opening up a cod map and see what they use

oh, and when i did they editor, it did have sound, it sounded like breaking glass, but i had the fx sign to, i have to try:

fxid" should be "script_fxid", worked for me :)

if you are creating your own sound...it must be 22khz, 16 bit mono...quake engine wont play anything else [angryalien]

ok shotgun ....

where i place this line and how set it up in radiant...
im very newbie with scripting...i dont understand..

no body have a tutorial for creating a explosion with sound when i shot it whit bullet????

The bomb tutorial is great but how to modified it to make exploding the wall with a gun (example) not with a timed bomb?? is it possible??

please give me DETAILS...
