ok yah, i've already serached and searched and searched and i havnt found any topics on this. so...

when ever i go to copile my map it dont make the .bsp file...its missing i only have a .lin and .poly file, no .bsp. Here is my .bat file i use to compile with:

cd ..\..\tools\bin

q3map ../../main/maps/333
q3map -vis ../../main/maps/333
flare -extra -sundiffusesamples 10 -dumpoptions ../../main/maps/333

cd ..\..\

pause

so...whats the problem??

Try downloading CoDbuilder and use that instead, makes compiling a breeze, especially when you want to test it without waiting a day or two for the full compile process.

.lin means your map leaked

post your compile log for further explanations of your problems

Or it could be the problem I had, brushes that are too large. & never had a problem with makeing a .bsp from a .map with no skybox.

Yeah, even if there is a leak, you should still have a bsp, it just wont look right in game.

Two problems, one causing the compile failure and the other "serious".

Find brush 21; it is too large. Either split the brush or reduce it's size. It may be your skybox?

This means you're leaked. Either your skybox isn't "sealed" or you have an entity outside or extending beyond the skybox. You can use your pointfile to track the leak spot if necessary.

Search "leaked", "pointfile", and "lightmap allocation failed" for additional details on each issue.

ok resized every thing and still didnt work...here is my new log script and it looks like it took care of the leaked problem.
