When Electronic Arts announced last may they were shutting down "online services for some older EA titles" i never thought twice about it as it seemed reasonable. However if you look at the list most of these games are from 2005. We are about half way into 2006 so how are games from 2005 considered "older EA titles" ? Last year I played Need for Speed™ Underground 2 a lot, so did a lot of other people, one month ago I went to play it online and hardly anyone was there to race I imagine it is the same for the others on that list, they are actually old now and also pretty much dead.

I didn't think they were that old but if they are as you say "dead" that does not speak very highly for the quality of EA Games.

Dead meaning most on that list have been replaced or will be later this year, things move on (for the better in EA's case)
