My first map, based on the original MOHAA map of the same name. This project started off in UO as something to help me learn the mapping skills, by the time CoD2 Radiant appeared I had done most of the basic structure design and decided to release it as a CoD2 map.

I've deviated from the original MOHAA map in ways that I hope will make the map much more enjoyable. There are very few parts of the map that are the same, the most noticeable being the main square which I have kept in.









Any ideas/criticism welcomed :)

Looks good so far. I have a bias towards desert map anyway. Pm me and let me know when its done. I will throw it into my servers rotation[pimp]

Forgot to add before that it will support all gametypes (DM, TDM, CTF, HQ and S&D) with up to 32 players (should support 64 players but this has not been tested yet)

hum... I started to make Algiers few weeks ago...This was supposed to my first map ever. I'm not an experience mapper so it is long to me to adapt myself with Radiant. I was waiting for my friend [VS-UK]robbie because he's already in the making of St-Vistal and almost finish.

No problems...[sad] and good luck...it looks real nice.

Sorry [sad], was unaware anyone else was doing the same map but this is a lot different to the original Algiers (the only noticable similarity is the main square).

The map is finished, I'm just waiting for the loading screen to be completed (it's being done by another clan member) then I will post up a link for you all [biggrin]

My ideas/criticism would be to use some decals to give the map some personalty. From those screenshoots the town looks very new and pristine.
