I have tried everyones replies but noone works.. I want music in SINGLE PLAYER not MULTI PLAYER okay? notice that..

Secondly.. I copy amb_berlin_ext.mp3 to a soundalias folder which ive created in cod MAIN folder. In the .gsc file i put this under the {

level.ambient_track ["ambient"] = "amb_berlin_ext.mp3";
thread maps\_utility::set_ambient("ambient");

I tried without the extension (.mp3) aswell.. So please say whats wrong?

You need sound files in a folder named sound in main. soundaliases is where you csv file goes.

You don't actually have to copy or move any sounds from the pk3s, leave them alone - you just need the right target file in your CSV.

The location of the file is ambient/amb_berlin_ext.mp3 in this case. And you want to give it an alias name in your csv file.

Like say, berlin.

And remember to put your map name in the loadspec or it won't load it for your map.

In your gsc you would then have:
level.ambient_track ["exterior"] = "berlin";
thread maps\_utility::set_ambient("exterior");

With the gsc identity alias as exterior as it's a better description when you start using multiple ambients for exterior/interior etc.

If you don't understand csv files read the tutorials and forums available and unzip/unrar/unpak some of the stock ones to have alook through and see, you can strip most of the stuff away and keep it as a template. They'll all be in folders called "soundaliases".

Set Up Your SP sound alias and the call the music like this.

Code:
music()
{
 musicplay("music_name");
}

Where music_name is the name of the music in Your csv.
Other than That, look at the sp scripts mate they tell alot.
