Scrapped Castle Colditz, trying something more industrial. This is not meant to be Norsk Hydro and the heroes of Telemark just some sort of small industrial complex. Very early screenies.








The lighting is ok in the game but looks bad on these screenies its just the screen shots. I have adjusted them in P.S.P. as best I can.
I hope to get as many game types in as pos.

Yeah looking nice Dad. Should play well.

To add more realisim to the lights, make a round disc textured with common/shadow_caster about the same size as those ceiling lights, place it just on the top of the light and use overbrightShift 1 on the lights.

This will reduce that over bright look and the disk will cast a round shadow on the ceiling above the lights, as they do in real world lighting. [rocking]

Many thanks for the comments ppl.. @grassy, yeah, all the lights do have overbrightShift 1 (for ppl who dont know, remember the caps for the S) and look well in the game its just when I take a screen shot, It is always way too dark to post so I have to adjust them in P.S.P. thats a bit of a fiddle getting the brightness and contrast to balance.

N M, I am going now to try out your tip on the shadow_caster. I am also working on a lift with working "timed" doors using your neat four door script you made for us.

The map will prolly end up with a bit of a "depot" look about it, no excuses from me in fact I will be pleased if it does end up looking like Depot. lol [rocking]

btw, just a bit of fun I guess. Those two small platform type cranes traverse along (switched) and down into the test tanks. A player can get on them. (had to put them in, orders from the Azz) lol

What sky texture is that? Is it some thing that you made up? The new shots look alot cleaner than the other ones. Looks great![thumbs_up]

Hey, hi there LM, Many thanks, that sky is skies/trainbridge its night but very bright night. My lads (Azz) idea so I just do as I'm told lol.

Nice bike btw.... I was a "biker" many moons ago. also btw, your models list program has saved me hours in making this. I just highlight the description from your program copy and paste into the xmodel field in the entities box and bingo!!
