Shacknews also has a preview online of Call of duty 2. Activision showed the press both the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the games. Check out some impressions right here.

Looks amazing, but I can't tell if the game uses normal maps. If it did it would make everything so much easier. With screenies like that though its gotta be at least supported.

Hi.

Looks promising.
Great screenshots.

Dont know about the characters and some proportions
of the uniforms.

Will be a total new experience.

Have to see it in game.

They have some really nice looking bumpmapping - makes the uniforms seem so much more realistic - got texture.

You can allmost feel the rufness of the paint on the jeep - that mud looks Really MuddY [crazy]

Hi "Eladd" agree with that.

The uniforms look more realistic and the textures are also.

But proportions of some uniforms way oversized.

Interesting thing is, we study and admire the still shots - reality is, when we finally play the game, we probably wont notice the little details the same - we will be so involved in the action - we wont have time to admire how great the minor details are - visually its definatelly upped the quality for sure.

to think its being release only a few weeks from now [cool]
