I am completely new to mapping/modding.. I am learning doomedit from your extremely KICKASS vid tutorials, and I was wondering, is it POSSIBLE in any way to make the grabber dual as a grappling gun? if so, how might this be acheived.. Thanks for the time and work guys..

when you say grappler, i assume you mean like samus's one from metroid prime so you can swing around from stuff.

If so, the youd have to do that through scripting/programming by adding ont o the or creating a new script for that weapon. You might also ned to create new animations and scripts for objects that need to be used as grapple points

dude, a grappling beam would be AWESOME!!! you could include some awesomely difficult to acces secret areas!! YEAH!!!

As for how youd do it, no idea :P useless post sorry.

a grappling gun would be sweet, and (just going off topic[exclamation]) i have beaten both metroid prime and metroid prime: echos[biggrin]. in the first 1 i got 100% all itmes but in the second i only got 80 something percent[tongue]
