Look at you bat file to determine why. I used the junction.exe file to avoid having to copy files during the compile so I can't help you with that portion but that file isn't being copied and so it can't find the file to compile.

You should clean up those errors because they will give you shadow and light problems as well. Also it doesn't like that model 0. Is that your sky box cause it's huge.

Thanks for the feed back Gomer I will see why it isn't accessing those files. Also is there a way to find this entity 0 because I don't have any idea what it is. As far as the sky box I am not sure about that either. I should have paid more attention. [confused]

For that entity it has to be the sky box judging by the size. Type the first set of coordinates and see where it goes(misc, go to position) If it is try re-making it and see if that gets rid of the problem.

As far as the other entities go, in your editor select misc, and find brush. Type in entity 0 and the brush number for each one.

Mapping is an exercise in PATIENCE[ohwell]

Open your editor with the map loaded. Look at your tool bar for the 'Misc.' menu and open it. In there you will see a number of options, one of which is 'go to position' click on that and enter -19497 -10178 -1007 if my guess is correct it will point to your sky box. To locate the problem brushes, in the same menu select 'find brush' and type in 0 for entity and the number for the brush, the editor will select the appropriate brush. Then you can try to determine what is causing the error.

If it's your fence then the problem may be that it is just too big of a brush. Break it into smaller segments.

this entity 0 is most of may map and I think I know what happened. I had saved it as a prefab. then put it in another map and combined the 2.[duh] Now that I know how to find these brushes I am not sure why they are getting these errors. it is my fence and blocks, foundations... and other stuff... Grrrr the map loads fine after compile but it just has no tree shadows or traincar shadows.

??? Any More Ideas ???

Well the shadows is a separate issue, that part of the flare just isn't being run and you have to address that in your batch file.

The fact that you combined prefabbed things from two different maps makes me wonder if you have duplicates occupying the same space. That will cause light problems. And I still believe that that entity is too big and needs to be cut into segments. Are these brushes or meshes?
