Hey all. I'm looking for people to help me out. I'm a mapper (arn't we all) and i'm looking for help to create, or atleast get ideas for a mod i'm thinking about making.

Basicly, it go's like, two teams, one rebels, one Robots of evil (=P) and they fight with all these tripped out weppons, vehicals etc (far into the future, so nothing like we've seen today) Kinda like Terminator i spose. but, lots of explosions, big specal effects and sweet sounds. Also, my idea was that for a soundtrack to the mod, we could get bands that are only small to submit there tracks for the mod. Just and idea.

My other problem is that I would idealy like to make this for COD2, BUT as we all know its not out. Now should i make it in COD for now then port it over to COD2 when it comes out our would that be a pain?

Anyway, tell me what you think, and seggestions etc. I dont want this to be another mod idea that people just ignore. Tell me if you like it, tell me if you hate it. AND PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU CAN HELP!

Like the idea mate, you should definetly NOT start it now though, get ideas on paper, get some drawings and a team together, then when COD2 comes out yours maybe the first MOD for it [thumbs_up]

I was wondering, if i start work on maps for it now in cod Radiant, would i be able to port them over, cuz i need somthing to do..lol

ok well Future Warfare is going to go ahead. Atm, it will be only be for COD2. Atm we will be only working on concept , sounds, textures etc.. This is untill cod2 comes out of couse. I'm looking for a team atm, i have one mapper/handyman. If anybody wants in on this mod, ether email me with some of your previous work, or add me to msn (sideburns_of_doom@hotmail.com)

This will happen, no matter if i have to do it all myself... want to do this!

I have had one idea that i'm realy fond of, and that that you will all start off with that same generic weppon, but you will be able to buy/find/pickup etc addons to make it a different weppon. Bigger weppons like RPG and Ion Rifels will be scatterd around the map or in your base.

I'm thinking that it will be a mainly MP experiance but if we can get the team, we'll get to work on a SP portion, but i doubt it.

id like to help you with maps and ideas for stories and stuff like that at the moment i'm still working on my map mp_asch but when cod 2 comes out it will be finished so you can count on me

just reqruted a concpt artest and i'm going to teac h him to model i think he will catch on VERY quickly. Anyway, i need more people to help out, so please, atlease let me know if you think its a good idea...

Hmm sounds like a good idea, but come up with more info on the storyline to beat the cliche of "another future mod". Is your concept artist almost done with some conecpts? Present some work/progress and I'm sure you guys will get more people to help out.
