Ok so i have put the stinger from singleplayer to multiplayer and it works except i get this error when i kill someone with it.
Any Help appreciated thanks.

Just ignore it. You get that error also when you get an airstrike, so it doesnt mean anything.

Since this is on the subject of stingers how did you fix the world view so it lined up with the player? Is it in the weapon file or was one of the tags moved?

No, you have to fix the world model for MP. INSANE did it for me, and its been in my Demon mod for COD4 for a while now.

I was hoping that wasnt the case. I suppose it counts towards the custom xmodel limit? I might just put up with the error so it doesnt take up a spot that I can use for something else. The chance someone would actually see a player firing the missile is pretty small.

Yes it would count toward the limit... but last i recall you would've had to add the sp ones into the game anyway... and that would count against the limit.
