lol i just found out something really really stupid...
I was using terrain meshes instead of patch messhes for my terraining...now wonder i sucked! this is so much easier. i just wanted to post this to help ne other people with this problem....

name sort of decieving eh? u think terrain mesh would be better for hills ect.

they take alot less time to make and seem to have a more "curved and smooth" feel to them.

Whats the difference between terrain and patch meshes anyway??? I always use terrain mesh for terrain...[sniper]

patch messhes have curving charecteristics...heres some screens to show u wat i mean...

heres the terrain mesh





-see how it is straight line when the vertex is moved

patch mesh





-see how it is curved when the vertex is moved

thats the difference between the patch and terrain mesh
