at a loss! Call of Duty 4 : CoD4 MP Mapping If you are not on 1.5 try changing the name back to .zip or whatever compression type you used and see if you can open it. Again, the game decides to now crash on map load. Call of Duty 4 : CoD4 MP Mapping Quickest way to check and see if you .iwd file is messed up. I had some problems with maps loading when using them on a server and found out it was a bad .iwd. I now set up a dedicated server on my machine and host my own maps and log in using mulitplay... From what I understand is that if your minimap works then when IW gets the game patched to have the other map show up when you hit esc. then it will just work.
