Hi there guys.....ive some rocks in my map and im trying to get water to fall down them.....im using sfx/truckridewaterfall....i made the rocks, gave them some height etc and then pressed space bar and raised it so its a little higher than the rocks.....but i get a problem when compiled...my water is running up....ive tryed everything but carnt change it....any help on this 1 please

COD has no water direction built in right? WHich means it's texture controlled. So, select your terrain patch with your water texture on it and hit S.

For rotate, find out what the entry is and do a 180.

SO if the entry says: 0.00000

Change it to: 180

Apply,Ok.

Thanks for the reply m8...but ive tryed this and it still doesnt work...anymore surgestions?[banghead]....if you want to look at the map file i can give you it on X-Fire:

I would try a different sfx file and see if it does the same.

Idk much about sfx, but it probably referecnes a shader file and maybe you can take a look at that. Or write your own. xD

Had the same problem with a tree background patch, turns out i had the patch flipped the wrong way. Not sure how it happened, but try and turn the whole patch 180 deg. that should correct the problem. the surface editor wont do it alone.
