ive search so many times and i still cant find any tutrial that tells me who to add grass.

is there a button i need to press of somthing

plz help

Grass is just a model, you place them where you want, right click the 2d grid > misc>model.

Locate the folder raw/xmodel from the browser window and then look for foliage/grass. (can't remember the exact names, chances are they are called foliage_something)

Also to make it look good place them on top of a terrain patch which has a similar colour grass texture to the model that your using and do some alpha blending to finish it off.

1 - choose your grass model from the xmodel folder and place it in your map
2 - choose the model and duplicate (spacebar) or ctrl-alt + left click to add grass models (i recomend ctrl-alt + left-click, as you can click anywhere on the 2D map and place the model)
3 - All your grass models must be above the terrain
4 - Select all the grass models
5 - In your radiant toolbar, there are 4 icons on the right side
6 - click on the large green arrow if you want your grass to be randomly scaled and rotated OR click on the small green arrow if you want your grass to be dropped to the ground just as you placed it
7 - then, click on the '0' (zero) icon to tell radiant to plant each grass model to ground level
8 - finally, click on the first icon with two pink boxes to drop each model to the floor.

N.B. the icons I speak about are located on the right side of the toolbar...if you do not see them, you might want to change your screen resolution to view more of the toolbar.

Or click between any two button on the tool bar and drag the tool bar downwards, this un-locks it, now you can click-drag the edges to expand it.

i tried the tool thing and when i set it up and stuff ill click run and nothing happens
