Hello, I was just wondering if anyone is here willing to design a competitive map. No prize, just if anyone is thinking about to create a new map. Why I was wondering about this is because there isnt any much of custom competitive maps and cod4 community would need this. I dont know if anyone knows the promod but "pro" players play on it and there will be coming new version soon as there will be fixed a lot of thing that will make the game more skilled and more competitive playable. I searched for more maps here and on iws forums but there isnt much there anymore =( and I didnt find much... some are already designing map from css de_nuke for cod and there was made one other map that is quite playable but i think that we would need more of a choice. So if anyone is willing to design it, you should already start and map should have a good tactical play.. lot of positions and mostly for 5v5...I dont know but I was thinking that de_cpl_mill form css would be great but that just a thought... if anyone is going to design it or is already designing it please contect me on xpero_39@hotmail.com...besause Im not so active on these forums

I submit that making a map "play well" is the hardest part of the whole process. Whenever I've managed it, it has been a total accident.

heh... but you know that public map is easier to create to be played well...competitive maps are the hardest to create imo... i respect level designers at iw because they are creating very good maps which are well played and not just on one mod but on all... i think tdm,dm,dom, sab and everything these maps are not just for s&d like you have maps in cs,css but they can be played on every mod
