Weird, dont know if i hit something or...but whenever I start up COD or go to test a map, the screen is mini and I can see my desktop etc, any quick fix or solution>?

Also, when I test a map i am working on, am I supposed to have a weapon or not, cause i dont? lol

Go to console and type /r_fullscreen 1 and tehn /vid_restart.

Personally, ever since it changed my screen to windowed, I've been running it like that ever since at 800x600 on the top left corner of my screen, works perfectly and allows me to work in Radiant and scripting while the map is running to fix stuff. Then again, I'm a scripter so I really don't need to see the level design up close and at full resolution.

You need to give yourself a weapon via script or Radiant itself.

There is a box at the bottom of the compile tools to add custom commands on load. Click that and in the box type

+set r_fullscreen 1

. This will force it to load in full screen.

One other helpful command to add is

+set src_game_spectatetype 2

to make sure you can free spec when the map loads if you want to look at all the angles without having to join a team
