That is kind of strange. One other thing you can try os to put a block of volume_lightgrid over the areas you are having problems and see if it helps. It looks like the light/shadows are just bouncing off certain textures in an odd way for some reason.... [more]

There may be a slightly easier way to do this. Something I have just recently been using myself. If you use a 3x3 curve patch instead of a terrain patch adjust the verts on the then ends and the outside vert in the middle to make your curve then hit shif... [more]

Just a suggestion, but when putting foliage on a wall, you may be better off using a terrain patch instead of a brush. It will help it blend in better and you don't have to worry about what to do with the other faces.... [more]
