k i was wondering whether there was something i could do to cut out a brush with another brush. plz look at the this example: http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cutpf6.jpg
I want to do something like A and get the result of B. hope that made sense. plz help.

Looks like u want the csg subtract tool, but they took that out after cod1 radiant because of the issues it caused. Use the clipper tool.

U c what i was trying to do was cut out the light grid that overlapped the all the walls on the map. i don't know why but for some reason i believe that would optimize the map a little bit.

Use the clipper tool as suggested. There is a tutorial on how it works in the CoD4 section.



And a better one by me in the CoD2 section [biggrin]
