hi,...

i want my ai actors are shooting on the moving tank but they ignore it....at the truck it works better...but this one isn´t stopping after destroying (looks unreal[jumping])..like the tank...

in moment i work with the "Scripting 101" tut ... this is working but only to a half...unfortunally the actors only running to the node and don´t fight it...

here a link to my "moving tank" file there is also a truck inside...

do you speak another language or are you only trying to confuse us?

so your actors go to the node, but they don't fight? enemy or friendly, axis or allies?

Make sure that your node path ends when your vehicle blows up, or make it skid to a halt(path of nodes close together with decreasing speed incriments).

hehe...lol..i´m german..could be my english isn´t correct (sorry)...


the actors are alied and because my alied actors ignoring the tank and don´t fight it...like the truck...the allied actors fighting the truck...i thought i try to script it....i found here this tut..http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-282.html..and tried to realize it... and the result is:

-i made a normal ai friendlychain (before i did this i only created a path of pathnodes but this wasn´t working´)
-gave my allied acors a targetname of my_ai
-made pathnode..gave it a targetname of my_ai_node
-and created a mapname.gsc file with the script wich is included
in the upper mentioned tut
-and now the actors are only running to the my_ai_node and don´t fight it

to the truck...

i meant the truck isn´t stopping after the destroying...like the tank..the tank stops when i destroy it....

i hope this is to understand..lol..

5.)Ihr Englisch ist nicht genau stellar, deshalb ich, obwohl dass ich alle von dies zu Deutsch übersetzen würde. Ich kann auch alles übersetzen, das Sie zu Englisch sagen, damit ich alle verstehen kann, dass Sie sagen. Wenn Sie besser an Deutsch sind, lassen Sie mich wissen.

Es ist wirklich ZUSTIMMT, wenn Sie auf Deutsch sprechen wollen, könnte ich das Ganze Tag lang machen.

Der Übersetzer, den ich benutze, arbeitet ziemlich gut tatsächlich sprechend auf Deutsch wäre besser, Ursache dann ich kann verstehen Sie.

Lassen Sie mich, wenn dies anschaut, wissen oder ertönt wierd zu Ihnen.

That is a problem in the script, but i don't know if there is a way you can make it stop once destroyed. The tank, moving scripts are really made for the take to move, then once it stops, to be destroied.
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

your speeling is off today playername =P

make sure your pathnode and vehiclenode names are all different and make sure they are leading to the correct node in the path.
