Hi all,

I have looked in the forums here to see if I can find a fix for my following issue, with no luck.

When you use DX9 player shadows show through walls & roofs, is there a way I can compile my map to eliminate this problem? I want to remove the player shadow, but keep the other model shadows, is this possible?

I think the issue is something to do with the skybox as edges are blurry around buildings etc, maybe I could double skin my tower as this is where the shadow is a major problem.

Thanks in advance.

Player shadows are an individual client setting, you really cant control that in a map. The fuzzy issue is more a DX9 thing, I also see this effect in the stock maps on some buildings at a distance.
They almost look transparent on some angles.

If your map is fairly bright, you might try reducing the ambient light level a little, that will also darken the inside of the buildings a bit more and help reduce the player shadow bleed through problem.
