I can now see the sky texture through the edges of most textures in all multiplayer maps. I updated my GPU driver from Nvidia website yesterday morning but I didn't notice anything different while in Radiant. I went to test my building on a test map and I could see through the edges of most things till you get up real close.

I've done this so far:

1. Reload old drivers from the CD....Didn't help.

2. Change the graphics settings.
DING! Found that in DX7 it doesn't happen, just in DX9.
I'm always in DX9 and never saw this before saturday night.

3. Remove all files and uninstalled MOD tools....Didn't help.

4. Uninstall & Re-install COD2....Didn't help

5. Download and install latest DX9 drivers from Microsoft....Didn't help

6. Ask for help and post a pics.

Any sugestions will be appreciated.

setCvar("r_glowbloomintensity0", ".25");
setCvar("r_glowbloomintensity1", ".25");
setcvar("r_glowskybleedintensity0",".3");

add those lines to your .gsc file, that should fix it.

Thanks for your reply Caretaker.

This happens in every map I play Stock or Custom.
All maps do this now. I believe it's slowed down my FPS a
little bit also.

Can I use those commands in the Console to see if that helps?

Check if you don't have a mod or a custom map in your /main folder which sets it. If it only happened recently, it's probably from a mod.

and the guy who said to add him on xfire.. must be kinda lonly, its perfectly fine saying it right here for future people with this problem, why not just post it...

No offense taken SSO,

Turning brightness down actually makes it worse on the
Matmata skyline.That only increases the contrast between the
bright sun and the darker foreground.

Being a Bolts Only Rifleman it matters when your scanning
far off distances and you can't see someone leaning
around a corner cause you see the sky behind them.

I could see it as a new challenge..[wink]...but it didn't exsist untill 7 days ago..
..or 8 months before that either.

I have 426 megs of screenshots of different maps so I can
compare "before update" and "after update" performance.

It drives me nuts......I hate it. [banghead]
