Stannum,    adding weapons to single player is easy,  just requires changes to the config scripts.  Only MP requires code changes.  I beleive the documents in the SDK explain how to do it.

Kid,
dont stop ur idea like that,
u know im doing a mod too, and i was not knowin nothin on what i was workin on, and i was the project leader ;)

frist u know i ask people who was makin mod,
what i was needing,

they told me
u need

Vocal Dude (to make voice)
Programmer at least 2
Mapper
Skinner at least 2
Modeller at least 2
Animator at least 2

thats what u need

ure not oblige to have a vocal dude if u dont wantof voices,
but ur idea need voices so u need one maybe 2,

now u know what u nead,
make a greaaaat website with a forum, message board
to have people whoare curious to ask questions,

and go in allllllllllllll forums u know and post
u re-search for modler for a great mod and bla bla bla,

ull find a team when the teamp is up,
send "draw" of ur skin to skinner
"draw" of ur map to mapper

they will begin
after some dayz mapper will ask u for objects to insert in their map, send their object "draw to modder" and theyll make one,

its all about organization and make people go in the same way,
only thing u can do is organized da ####, da public relation man and da webmaster !!!

me i begin like that,
and i learn how to do skins
now im doing skins with my skinners for my mod ;)

heh - ta for some nice ideas, but, unfortunately I don't currently have the time to learn something new (be it coding, mapping, model making etc), I was hoping just to pass on the ideas we had to someone or a group of people that could turn it into something.

Unfortunately my knowledge of the modding community is nil, and I'm unaware of what the correct way to approach a mod, what are the do's and dont's - I apologise if I have offended anyone in my posts.

If only it was as easy as pasing it onto a dev company :)

:s10: it isn't easy controling a mod. But it does get better and better if the people agree and ####.

don't quit, i was just sayin wut sum1 else said in another post, hehe, and... ####, sounds like a good idea. keep lookin, and you'll find some people. trust me on that!
