all i do is file>load then i get it... so, ur telling me to press "n" and edit the name hmm :/

let me just clarify, even though you got it allready. When you right click in your grid, instead of going to 'misc>model', go to 'script>model' then go to File>Load, and load the correct collmap for your model..then take that collmap and match it up exactly with your 'scriptmodel'. I havent compiled a map in COD2 and tried this myself yet...but it worked in the previous editor, and should work in this one
