Is there something special about setting up COD 2 tools?

I can't get textures to show up in texture window.

As I look at the new editor/tool, it does seem very much the same.

I shall await all the info the "big" guys come up with. Just messing around right now and had the texture question.

Go Textures -> Show All, all textures should then be viewable in your texture screen.

If you wanna minimize your texture search (For Example) Go Textures -> Usage, tick Door then Go -> Locale - Egypt then Go -> Surface Type Wood that should give you all the wooden doors in Egypt.

Rather than filling the board with a bunch of NEW posts about what I find, I will try to post in this thread.

Prefabs are .map files.

Every time I want a prefab I have to load a new .map file?

Doesn't that interfere with my current project or should I be saving my map as a .prj?

You can use the "load" command to load a new .map file into your current one.

Good morning CT, have tried that and most of the time I receive the following....

FATAL ERROR: Hunk_FreeTempMemory:bad magic
GetLastError():0
An unrecoverable error has occured.
Would you like to edit Preferences before exiting Q3Radiant?

Maybe I have preferences setup wrong? I didn't edit them at all.

What prefab are you trying to load?

The prefabs in the "prefab" folder you can load by going to misc->prefab in your 2d window
