Hi all, I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction on how to make a simple prestige mod for COD4 as I don't even know where to begin. All I want is to be able allow players to prestige just like in the console version of the game, allow custom maps, and a few skin mods to weapons, like golden skins for weapons that usually don't have golden skins for those who prestige.

Now, I'm not a complete noob when it comes to this stuff, but I've never actually created my own mod before. I have created custom maps, and I can modify a pre-existing mod such as ROTU, but I'm sick of zombies and no one in my clan likes heavy mods like K3, ACE, etc.

We just want something simple that doesn't take a whole lot away from the original game. Any help is much appreciated and if there's already a mod like this, where can I download it?

The problem with that mod, and everyone that I have seen, is that when joining the game, you need to choose what it allows you as class, rather than your own classes.

Is there a way to make a mod allow players to use their own custom classes? Or is that not possible?
