What im trying to do is create a hook with a ragdoll hanging from it. I already know how to bind entities together but i just cant seen to get this to work.
The effect should be the same as in the sp campaign where you see guys hanging from cables or bars. ive tried binding the dolls joints to func_statics, but they just fall to the floor with the doll after the level loads.

i also have problems with ragdolls. i want to make a ragdoll get dragged across the floor or somethin but i duno how[confused][confused] if some1 could reply to both of us, that would be great[smokin]

to drag a ragdoll across the floor, the best way i can se to do that would be to create a func_mover, bind the ragdoll to it a let the mover get triggered when you want the doll dragged. You're also going to have to write a script for the mover to say where you want it to go.

If you're having problems with writing scripts, like I do, then create a function elevator and bind the ragdoll to it. Give the elevator the grid positions of where it starts from and where it moves to once triggered.

ok so when the elevator moves, the ragdol moves with it were ever it goes?[idea] cool! i can make like floating ragdolls LOL! but how can u trigger the elevator to move the ragdoll when u want it to? Ex:the player walks into a room which triggers the elevator to move the ragdoll.[confused][confused]
