I've downloaded some maps to play in LAN games, I've tested all of them at home and all of them seemed to be working well. But in the lan game some of the maps show this error when some players enter: "Cannot find tag [j_head]".
Searching the web I've found that a possible solution is:

Add an include to map's zone_source CSV file:
include,mptype_woodland

But this implies to have map's source code, there is any way to fix this problem having only the compiled map?

Short: No.


Long: No, because without the raw files you are not able to do anything. You can run alone in the map without problems, because the game does not spawn any worldmodels, just you and your viewmodel. Once you get more players, a worldmodel is needed so everybody can see each other. And there it is, where it begins. Funny, the solution is so easy, if you are the map designer... maybe you want to contact the author and ask him to repair that?

There is another solution to make the map work: use a mod which has all factions in. Also, you could add a modded Map GSC to the IWD folder of Mod, the GSC would contain another faction that has player model loaded in Map Fastfile.
