Hi all,
I try to make a map and I test it to see if it's working. It does. But now I changed something, I deletet a tower and added 2 vehicles, one tank and one jeep. When I now start the map is the tower back and the 2 vehicles aren't there!

Edit: Now the map has a other name and when I want to do step 2 (Compile Reflections) my game doesn't start to compile, it's just loading the menu with a patter before "Create Class".

Also I founded by the 1. step (Compile BSP) that it's saying to me, that a Reflection Probe is solid. ??

Did you make sure that you updated your zone file? That may be the case. If not, check if you saved your map in the editor, and then recompile everything.

I safed it and I did all the steps again= same result

I have 5 reflection probs but it is only testing 3 in step 2. And the unbelieveble is that I saved the map in the editor and do all the steps again is it loading my map that doesn't exist anymore![crazy]

Should I add something to the tank and to the jeep? When I press "n" then their comes up a window but I didn't enter something in there... In the Editor I can see the jeep and the tank and not the tower. In the game there is the tower and not the jeep and the tank...

Okay I have the solution:
My background had a bug. I deleted him and create him new, now it's working

Hi all!

I have the problem again[mad]

I did a lot on the map in the editor but I wnated to test it and I have the problem again[machine_gun]...

I did the same thing like last time, I gave it a new name and I made a new Background+new Light Grid Volume with worlspawnsettings but the problem don't go away, it's still there. I alawy have this picture by compiling the reflectionsprobs:

You don't need to keep changing the name of your map. You are making so much more work for yourself.

When a map doesn't update, it is because there is an error in the BSP compile. You can look over the log or post it here for someone to show you the error and how to fix it.

A reflection probe in a solid, is simply that. Move it from inside of whatever it is, to outside of it.

I had this problem recently and it drove me crazy [banghead] the main problem was my reflection probes were NOT in any solid. So if this is the trouble you're having, you should first delete all your reflection probes then recompile your BSP and it will most likely pull up an error. Now fix that error and replace your reflection probes and recompile. Good luck. [thumbs_up]

THANK YOU! Now it's working again. I just removed the Reflectionprobe which was in solid and it works again[thumbs_up]
