It's funny that the gamer there remains cool while the non-gamers get angry over their protests at violent video games.

I think they have every right to be concerned, but as the gamer pointed out, the problem is not that these games exist but that the regulations are disregarded by the parents who should be spanking their kids for playing CoD as they would for watching porn while drunk and puffing on a cigerette...

I think they are angry, their anger blinds them so much they buy children 18+ games.

I don't think anyone with an IQ above 70 is influenced by any game that they play. The fact of the matter is you can remain in society and play games at the same time, the people who have chosen not to, have chosen and they should be treated like the criminals they are.

For once they actually got someone to defend games that has a brain, who knows what he's talking about.

What you have to understand about this TV show is it on during the day and is mainly watched by stay at home mums and the unemployed. The host used to be on a gardening show and now somehow has a talk show. The women is an actress and the other guy is a former editor at the sun newspaper (the sun has a reading age of 9+ years old).

You can tell how much research has actually been done before hand, within the first few seconds he calls MW2 "Call of Duty 2 - Modern warfare” score one for pre-show research.

Probably the most epic moment is when the video game guy is asked if he has kids, he replies no and there is an audible gasp from the audience, In a "you don't have kids, therefore you don't know what you’re talking about" kind of way.It gives you a sense of the type of show this actually is. All the need is someone shouting "won't someone please think of the children" and the ridiculousness would be complete.

I got to say what a load of B*******
Its not the games or kids its the parents on how they bring up there kids
If you show the kids whats right and wrong and point out whats real and fictional and a game they soon learn whats right and wrong
My boys love the call of duty games, but they dont want to go around and beat people up or hurt them, they dont even want to play with guns
They know its a game
They are doing very well in school and are above the level they should be in some classes
And are very happy good boys

Exactly R1-mini, your case is similar to many others but the news only pick up on the worse, i mean all due respect but your story but it wouldn't make good news, on the other hand a young kid goes and plays gta then the next day decides to 'recreate' the game on the way too school just helps inflate these guys heads that little bit more.
