Converting 'mp_unit_test' (level 2 of 2)...

ERROR: Couldn't find bsp 'mp/mp_unit_test' in raw/maps or devraw/maps
aborting....
Converting 'sp_unit_test' (level 3 of 2)...

ERROR: Couldn't find bsp 'sp_unit_test' in raw/maps or devraw/maps

what are you trying to do? And what converter are you talking about?

Are you trying to compile a map?

just trying to install the mod tools. I followed the instructions but the launcher wont start. So, I tried to run the converter like it says in the instructions and that gives me these errors...

I managed to fix that error after a couple of hours of going through the source code and looking around the wiki... But it didnt fix the Radiant problem...

Anyways, I found this on the CoDWWModWiki:

Note the four map files include sp_unit_test and mp_unit_test
However in my Launcher (ModTools v1.2), I have barebones and mp_barebones...


To fix the bsp problem, do the following:

- open CoDWW\source_data\ directory
- right click levels.gdt, and uncheck "Read-only" in properties
- open levels.gdt for editing

- replace the two sp_unit_test occurances with barebones
- replace the two mp_unit_test occurances with mp_barebones
- save the edited file

levels.gdt should now look like this:

- go to your CoDWW\ directory
- right click the mods folder, and uncheck the Read-only in properties
- make sure you Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files and click ok
- repeat the last two steps on the mods folder in your .\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\ directory


- now, run your Launcher.exe (make sure to "run as admin" on vista)
- select barebones, check Compile BSP, and hit Compile Level
- select mp_barebones, check Compile BSP, and hit Compile Level

Now hit the Converter and it should compile without that error, however as mentioned before, the Radiant still gets the couldn't load material '$default' error :(
Im having more trouble with that one... I hope someone can finally come out with a solution...
