well i just about had it these modtools..

tryed otherdownload most files i could copy

with raw i had to copy each file manuly kso far so good

NOW the BIG problem..

when i compile it runs fine UNTILE...compile reflections...

i get the screen then those small pics from reflections..

the background color turns red orange.yellow

on finish try to run map..

it,s dark...fx gone [fire and smoke] also the thing you send don,t

work you send Doa

MAN this SUCKs maybe i,am not cut out to map...

PLEASE anybody HELP

yup,, me too but just the background wierd colours when its going through the vis.

Sorry cant think why other stuff done work m8... maybe some files got over written or sumpin.

Check again through your map, make sure all targetnames of triggers etc are correct.
Check again your worldspawns make sure there is nothing in there that shouldnt be. I discovered I had two items in the world spawn settings that should nat have been there.

Also seems as though your zone file is messed up and must not be calling on your .gsc's for your scripted door etc. Have a look into it and see if you can spot any lines messed up or indeed missing.

been modding all most ten years and i have never seen such a headache when it comes to mapping. its not the mappers its the company that doesnt seem to check there own files before release. havent had this many headaches since novalogics mod tools[mad]

I can appreciate that creating a mod or map for a complicated game could be a complicated procedure and the tools to do that would also be complicated. I have been making maps since the very first Call of Duty as many old time members of modsonline will I'm sure confirm. I have never encountered so many problems as with this one.

Having said that (please dont start the old war again) I think its fair to say that game makers are not nessesarily obliged to provide the tools of their trade to the public.

I watched my Son one day create a full working map for Crysis in not much more than an afternoon !!!! Its worked absolutely perfect, the ai's did exactly what they meant to do and the map looked drop dead gorgeous...... "Makes you wonder dont it"

ERROR: Sound file 'sound/sfx/weapon/special/molotov/molotov_light_00.wav' not found
ERROR: Sound file 'sound/sfx/weapon/special/molotov/molotov_explode_00.wav' not found
ERROR: Sound file 'sound/sfx/weapon/special/molotov/molotov_throw_00.wav' not found
ERROR: Could not open 'animscripts/traverse/wall_hop_zombie.gsc'

Would be good to have those files, so we'll need to extract them from the asylum.ff.

There's probably more missing.

well got things working again

but no sound

how do i get these sounds to work or do i need more files to get

this to work or maybe ad something to my map...

did what you said with the extractor.. but only wind sound works

maybe some 1 has a complete sound file and can upload it

btw why sp and not mp sound.........
