This is a little conversion I have been working on for our clan server. This is only my second map so please don't be to critical.

For the past 2 weeks I have been working on a conversion of the Counter Strike map, de_train. I thought it would be interesting to play all the different game types on this map as it was one of my favorite maps from way back in my CS playing days.

I still have to finish adding a few game types and get the mini-map working, but anyways, here are a few screens:

I agree,very nice map but needs some decals and cover around, for example the walls in my maps are made from up to 4 layers, gives the map much more depth and feel to it.

It looks well laid out to me and nicely built ... maybe just add a bit of carnage here and there...... Give it a sort of trashed look some.

But crackin good job there. reminds me of railyard.

oh, and shot 6 there,, the lights down the passage... if you havent already. Put info nulls under the lights near the floor and connect the lights to them,, could maybe give it a bit more atmosphere.

I tried to stay as true to the original map as I possibly could which is why there is no "carnage".

Like I said this is only my second map and this is the biggest map I have worked on to date and I am still learning things as I go. What is this "info null" thing you are talking about, and what exactly would it accomplish?

Thanks for the comments so far. I will take all input into consideration.

some small changes can make a world of difference to atmosphere.. you will see in this tut how to add info nulls to your lights its really easy even an old duffer like me can foloow it lol
