everytime i save it gives me a message, "Radiant MFC Application has stopped working." Please i need to know to fix this. i do got a windows vista. i can make maps and everything just when i save it gives me that message and it closes down, and its very annoying. I would appreciate it if someone can help me out with this error.

Since Vista needs permission to do anything (IE: Wiping its nose), you need to give all programs associated with Radiant and the tools Admin Permissions to operate properly. This will solve your problem.

Then use the copied radiant.exe and wait a while. It took a long time for it to load for me but it seems radiant has loaded up. VISTA COMPATIBLE

Also, Try right clicking Radiant.exe and related programs and tell it to run as administrator. I had the same problem with another clients machine, as he ran Vista, and the saving problem was happening to him, or rather, me. Basically it was because the program wasn't running as Administrator. The program didn't have administrative rights to save as itself, or to perform any operation besides "run".. Start with right clicking Radiant.exe and see if you can "run as administrator". Once that works, do the same for the rest of the tools in that list I gave you. That is how I fixed the guys machine who was using Vista, and I did it with my own hands, so I know it works.
