So, my current map is going well,
when I compile it, it runs via tools fine, no issues.
When I upload it to server I get the dreaded "zone file" red stripe.

I deleted ff files from zone/english directory, re compiled , works fine locally, via tools or if I start a local server and load map( as before) I uploaded it to server...still the red stripe problem.

Any ideas ?

What do you mean 'red stripe'? Can you post a screenshot up.

I think you' ll need to include the following to your zone file and save it before it will work correctly.

weapon,sp/mp5_silencer
xmodel,viewhands_black_kit

You get this if you don't specify a 'viewhands' model in your zone files.

Odd, that its never happened before though with other maps Ive made, or have I just been lucky ?
Now I know, I wont have to upload a map 5 times to try and fix it hehehe

Sigh........

Uploaded "adjusted ff files to server and my re-direct.
Now the game just downloads the ff file over and overin a loop.
LOL, time for bed, perhaps I can get it working tomorrow.

Again, map works fine locally, but upload it to the server, and the dreaded redline re-appears !! I havnt had this problem with the last 4 maps Ive made, which all worked fine...unfortunatly, I had to format HD and lost those otherwise I would just cut and paste one of those zone files into this one, making the required adjustments.

This is very frustrating, map takes an hour to compile, and 30 mins to upload to server , and re-direct server, to find that problem still exists, repeat that 3 or 4 times and I can hardly wait till Americas Army3 comes out and I can try a different editor, that might work properly.

In your GSC what soldier type are you using...

game["allies_soldiertype"] = "desert";
game["axis_soldiertype"] = "desert";


needs - include,mptypes_desert - in your .csv(zone).....
