ok so i drew out a map and dont have the know how on how to create one. i watched hte foyleman tutorial and was GREAT but there arent anymore lol. soooo if somone would like to make the map i drew out please post it here and ill scan it and post a pic :D

Post the pic, i would love to see. Layouts are something i have no inspiration with.

PS I doubt anyone will say a definate yes before you post the pic. [thumbs_up]

A 2d layout is only a fraction of the designing process in my opinion. The look and atmosphere are important.

Why is there a tall tower on a bridge and why does the canal go into a tunnel under a field? These things dont seem realistic to me and would look odd. Can you describe them or draw them?

ok well this is as detailed as im gunna be able to get. itll be a night map close to night anyway sun might just be ready to go over the ridge kinda thing, LOW visability.





ok heres the map i numbered all the buildings and "land marks" with letters.

ok ima go from house to house with details on what each one should be like. in the bottom right hand corner of the map theres a compass so i can "direct" what goes were and how it faces.



1. this is a smaller sized house itll have the main door open facing SE towards the street and 2 windows one on the NE and SW sides of the house the NE window is gunna be to small to climb through just to see through.

2. This is a medium\large sized house one of the larger ones tho itll be a 2 story house with an attic for a window on the eastern side and u can gain roof access though this, IF its dooable.


3. is a smaller house with a Car garage, a door on the north and south sides of the house one facing the road and one facing the canal, also 3 windows, one on the east side big enough to climb through 1 in front North side and one in back on the south side. they all should be able to climbable


4. is a medium house 2 story's. this house will be like the "main" house so u can see on all sides windows at least 4 on north and south sides 2 on the top lvl and 2 on the bottom lvl all climbable. i was also thinking about maybe having a machine gun in the south side window maybe top floor.
and of course doors on the north and south sides


5. a smaller house just kinda like a shed size maybe a lil bit bigger mainly one room. maybe have some like "shed" tools in here you kno shovels rake w\e u can think of. door on the north side and windows on the east and south side all climbable.


6. is kinda of a BS house 1 2 rooms windows on the south west side and northwest side. door is facing the road south east.

7. is a pass through house 2 rooms. doors on the south side by US spawn and door on the north side by the brick wall 2 windows on the east side.


8. this house is like # 6 same thing.

9. is a pass through house as well gives access to the corn fields D and C

10. this is a special house this house will be 2 storys and itll have the tunnel access in the basement. itll actually be one story but have a basement.also itll have windows in the front north side and back side facing the corn. maybe if youd want a "crawl" space in the attic for "sniping"

11. same as 10 basically cept no tunnel


12. well you do w\e u want with this house its basically a "camping" spot to watch B site so do what u see fit with it. same with 13.

14. this should be a rather talllll tower about maybe 3-4 storys 2 windows tho at the top. one east and one west side. also on the ladders, u see the tank on the road there south west of that tower? it has blown a Big hole in the second story part so a player is partially exposed when climing :D. the doors are gunna be north and south sided

A. is a "road block" so the tank cant pass. players should be able to partially hide behind it for "cover".

along each of the houses on the south side of the map. 8, 10, 11, 12 should have a fence running along the outside should be climbable. if u cant see it lemme kno ill high light it in another pic.

D and C are both "corn" fields or tall bushes, palyers can be seen but it is difficult, i think u kno what i mean.

B is just a BIG open field with some dense grass players should be able to crawl through it and it shouldnt be easy for a person on the ground to see him\her. but if in the tower could obviously be seen easily.

the Canal should be sloped enough to climb back out or walk back out, the west side of the canal should be a tunnel that leads to the west sided tunnel, idk if thats possible or not, the water in the canal shouldnt be so deep that a player drowns either but deep enough to make noise when passing through it. and should be fencing along the ridge of it, again if u cant see the fencing lemme kno ill high light it.


the Wall above 1. shouldnt be so short that a palyer can simply look over it. should be boxes so one can climb over it tho.


the Wall by house 7. should be the same as the one previously stated and should also run up north east along the road then north to hit the house #1. maybe put like an "explosion" gash in it so players can climb through it, if you want.


plant site A north west corner should be like an AA battery and prolly have a wall going around the back side like depicted. maybe have some boxes or something around the area.



plant site b should prolly be an Ammunition depot or sorts or a computer server or something, idk put w\e u want in there :D.


anyway if there are any more "concerns" or questions lemme kno.
